The British Middle Class
in the temporary society, some new class type are emerging, for instance, ROBs ( Rich Ordinary Britons) - who regard them as working although they have reputation and huge wealth. HEWs ( High Earning Works) - who earn over £100,000 per year in household income, but still claim they are working class. SALs ( Surban Asset Lightweights )- who call themselves middle class with the poor incomes. It is clear that a considerable number of people's job mismatch their calling.
the traditional class markers are associated with savings, investment and property indicators not only previous family background, education and job. in the term of upbringing and job area, they are placed an important status between working and middle class (by 30% ). In the aspect of income, the working class think that the factor is more important than Middle class, while the latter more emphasis on eduction and housing than the working classes. As regard to the saving and investment, the middle classes have twice as much as counterpart and three times as much in investments. in all, the middle classes over £104,216 than the competitors in the aspect of total assets.
as far as I am concerned, the difference between classes mainly owing to the huge gap in the wealth, for the working classes, we should encourage them to save money for the future, and they require high level education and professional, managerial jobs.

There are some commons and deferences in the British national newspapers. The Independent, Times as well as The Daily Telegraphs, for example.Going through the newspaper on 7, Mar. 2008, we can see the top story is massacre in the heart of Jerusalem- a man kill a 8 years old boy with a large picture on it, no any description on this page, nevertheless, there are detail report on the page of 2 and 3, it occupies almost two pages spaces and a large picture again . From the content, taking advantage of the way of interview , such as wittiness , teachers, polices and government and so on , to cover their thinking and attitude about that.
While , in the Times, we can also see the story in page of 4 with a small picture, the report account for little space in that page, as for the content, it is simply and objectively described the scene of violence and the respondend from the public.
