All families pay much attention to their spare time in the British. In the weekend ,they get together to bbq which is prevalent activity. it is well known that toast sausage is the essention of the British food. Apart from this, when meeting live football match ,you can see many people watch the match with beer in the pub. locate people are fill with passionate for the football.
Almost each family has their own pets. They treate their pets very well as well as treat their children .It is no wandering for this phenomenon,if you buy them you must take responsiable for the pets rather than puting them aside.
Many locate families are good at making cake which is famous dessert,for instance, a rice pudding with poached pears, it is not particular colourful and few fat content,it need vanilla,egg yolk,and a touch of sugar,it tastes smooth and creamy.
It is a glamorous lifestyle!

I'm interested to read your post about families in BRTAIN getting together on weekends to BBQ. When I lived in Hong Kong, certainly, many of the HK Chinese would make their way to the country parks on a Sunday and have a BBQ. I'm not so sure this is true of the British. I believe that BBQing for the British is quite a recent activity, which probably only happens when the weather is nice! Where did you find your information about British BBQ habits?
Are you sure MOST British families have a pet? Where did you find this information? Or is this just your opinion?
