The British Middle Class

It is reported that there are high increase population of middle class in Britain. by 2020, a majority of Britain adults will regard them as the middle class than the working class. furthermore, a huge wealth gap exist between middle and working class, even though there are substantially rise in the working class incomes.

in the temporary society, some new class type are emerging, for instance, ROBs ( Rich Ordinary Britons) - who regard them as working although they have reputation and huge wealth. HEWs ( High Earning Works) - who earn over £100,000 per year in household income, but still claim they are working class. SALs ( Surban Asset Lightweights )- who call themselves middle class with the poor incomes. It is clear that a considerable number of people's job mismatch their calling.

the traditional class markers are associated with savings, investment and property indicators not only previous family background, education and job. in the term of upbringing and job area, they are placed an important status between working and middle class (by 30% ). In the aspect of income, the working class think that the factor is more important than Middle class, while the latter more emphasis on eduction and housing than the working classes. As regard to the saving and investment, the middle classes have twice as much as counterpart and three times as much in investments. in all, the middle classes over £104,216 than the competitors in the aspect of total assets.

as far as I am concerned, the difference between classes mainly owing to the huge gap in the wealth, for the working classes, we should encourage them to save money for the future, and they require high level education and professional, managerial jobs.

Exploring British Newspapers again

There are some commons and deferences in the British national newspapers. The Independent, Times as well as The Daily Telegraphs, for example.Going through the newspaper on 7, Mar. 2008, we can see the top story is massacre in the heart of Jerusalem- a man kill a 8 years old boy with a large picture on it, no any description on this page, nevertheless, there are detail report on the page of 2 and 3, it occupies almost two pages spaces and a large picture again . From the content, taking advantage of the way of interview , such as wittiness , teachers, polices and government and so on , to cover their thinking and attitude about that.

While , in the Times, we can also see the story in page of 4 with a small picture, the report account for little space in that page, as for the content, it is simply and objectively described the scene of violence and the respondend from the public.

However, as far as the Daily Telegraph newspaper, we can see the general description on the first page accompany with the location map, it is not the major story but simply describe in the small space, and on the page of 17,there are full report on it with a big picture.

St David's Day

On the 1 March markes the death of St David, who declared the national day of celebration in Wales in the 18th century. he is the only native-born patron saint of the countries of Britain and Ireland, and made deep roots of Welsh Christianity by the time of his birth in the early sixth century.

There are many traditions in that day, people will ware traditional emblems on the clothe: the leek, which was St David's personal symbol, and the daffodil, a traditional symbol of Wales which is in bloom during that time of year. In the school, students celebrity it by the mean of singing, dancing with traditional Welsh costume

It is the flag for the patron saint of Wales, Since 2002 the flag has also formed a part of the Cardiff City Football Club logo.

Employment in Britain

In Britain, the relevent of employment organisation can offer training for the group 16 to 18 who have dropped out of high school and have not yet found a job, they can get certificate and working practice experience. as for the disability, providing them with a position which needs them. Furthermore, helping low-income individuals sustain employment, offers a professional job coaching and financial incentives once they are working

There are some key issues around the employment in Britain. Many job forms " full of errors", 50 % job applications sent to employers are full of basic grammar and spelling mistakes from graduated students, they are not usually notice the observation, understanding, realisation and correct using it. Additionally, many students who want to work in the professional positions are still job hunting, almost three quarters of newly qualified nurse are still looking for the permanent job after they graduated from university.

As far as employers are concerned, they should take the employees qualification, breeding and the ability of working into consideration when offering employment. while, the employees should aware the salary, company welfare and atmosphere of working so on before accepting a job.

Employment

There are large working-age population in china, while the number of people with high educational level is relatively not enough for the demand of market, such as lawyers, doctors and engineers. The middle level dominate in employment in china, they are employee, farmer, manager positions and so on, with the large number of people from rural areas pouring into the city, eventually it is inevitable that the phenomenon of substantial unemployment, it is owning to their less educated and the competitive pressure on them.

the problem of abroad students is becoming hot debate in the modern society, currently, there are many students choose to go to broad to further studying, even though they get the overseas diploma, they still can not find job. Why? Because they make high objection in the future without considering their own power, as well as they do not have work experience. in china ,the diploma is basic point, and then observe your working ability and the manner of dealing with problems, the salary is not strictly according to your diploma to distribute the salary you should deserve.

Exploring British Newspapers

In the United Kingdom, newspapers can be spited into the National newspapers and the Local newspapers, despite the Local ones are not well known compared to the National 's in the world, the former is pretty populous for the local people to read . UK newspapers are generally mass market tabloids termed as the small sized or red tops( The Sun), middle market tabloids (eg The Daily Mail) and quality broadsheets referred to the big size(eg The Times)

In October 2003 ,The quality broadsheets The Independent began producing the compact edition- tabloid sized - with the main broadsheet sized newspaper, since then sales went up by 20% year-on-year, and The Times are followed with the compact edition, Both the newspaper are exclusive compact form.

Guardian ,which has also launched the compact form, switching to a mid-size format between tabloid and broadsheet,I believe the possibility of the similar form will be undertaken for the Daily Telegraph.

The two most-popular newspapers are The Sun and The Daily Mirror. The Sun were served for Conservative (right-wing), while The Mirror being Labour (left-wing). Both now appear to support Labour.

The broadsheets are probably the most famous to readers overseas, The Times, the UK’s oldest national newspaper, which supports to the Conservative Party,The Independent and The Guardian, as well as the financial newspaper is not related to the Times. Hence ,the cover for the Times are somehow tied up with the politic issues . For the comments/Editorial section, the Times are almost similar with the Independence, in addition, some topics are same as other newspaper.

Additionally, why the same item for the different newspaper account for the different space, besides, it is in the different page, the reason for that is the different newspapers served for the different parties. and some news occupy the almost space in the page . The different the newspapers have the different the politic aims ,with the different emphasis in the content.

One of the factors that The inequality economic societies may lead to incidences of health care inequality, poor socioeconomic status has a negative effect on the health care. as for some social groups , in the aspect of using health care are occasionally neglected , in particular individuals of poor socioeconomic classes .Once the accident has hap pend, and then there are celebrity and normal individual were injured, compared to the latter, i think the formal person is paid more attention to cheat .So we should more concern the disadvantage in the health care. any individual has the equality right to access to the health care .

Additionally, another inequality of health care is the immorality in favor of wandering to make profit-maximizing which influences the date of recover, or even worth that the chance of living will be deprived of once the unappropriate treatment.
